It is a good thing when you see the light then the darkness disappears. The heart beats, the mind directs you on what to do, whichever still will lead you to the right path.
Amaka is called the beautiful rose. everyone knows her and will do all it takes to be around her. The fair, tall, nice and ever smiling girl, the daughter of Mazi Kalu, popularly known for being the best palmwine tapper and seller too in the whole village of Uumeze land. A land filled with beautiful young ladies, hardworking men, a great rich king and all the comfort of the world. A lot of traders come to the land to trade and they are always fruitful and successful. Amaka sells palmwine in her father’s shop and sales are always high, sometimes low. All the men come there just to see the very beautiful face of Amaka. Men get even drunk without paying as far as they can see the face of the beautiful rose. A lot of people wonder what she has. Some call her a marine queen, some call her daughter of the devil himself. Its hard to tell whats behind her beauty, she even dances so well that at every contest or a village ceremony, she is being called upon to be at the fore fornt of it. All the young girls of Amaka’s age are evnious of her beauty. They try to fight her at the chance they have. Close family members and friends of Mazi KALU always ask questions to know if actually she is a human being. Well, since they don’t get the answers they are looking for, they let it be.
Mazi Kalu is comfortable and has everything he needs. He is one that do not lack anything. If he doesn’t get money from his palm-wine, he gets money from people who just want to appreciate the beautiful rose, Amaka or wants to marry her. A lot of rich wealthy men, both old and young come for the hand of Amaka but she refuses at all times. It became a big issue to why she keeps on rejecting every single one of them. To the villagers’ and Mazi Kalu’s surprise, Amaka is in love with Uzo. Uzo is one young guy in the village and not part of the rich or wealthy group of people in the village. Amaka finds him more worthy to be her husband than anyone else coming for her hand in marriage. She is really a marine queen for her to reject rich men with money, the villagers say. Amaka knew what she wanted and went for it. The whole villagers mocked her and Uzo, saying all sorts of things, people stopped calling her beautiful, some did continue. Two months later, Mazi Kalu let them get married.
One will think that with the beauty of Amaka that Uzo will be wealthy and rich, but it was a different case. Things got bad and no source of income came to Uzo’s household. It grew worst especially with no child yet. Uzo’s family are not taking easy on Amaka. It seems like her witchcraft has taken everything from Uzo. Yes, Uzo wasn’t so rich but he was surviving before his marriage to Amaka. Its been three years now, nothing at all is working. What seems to be the problem? The family of Uzo has been to many native doctors and spiritual houses for solution. Each time they do what they are asked to do, everything still fails. Uzo never stopped loving Amaka. He stood by her through think and thin and never cared what people were saying. Threats came from the family to bring in a second wife but yet Uzo never agreed. Amaka and Uzo were patient and hopeful and this kept the love to grow stronger and stronger.
Some months after, a pastor from the city came to the village for a special service. The service was held for three days. The pastor decided to stay extra days to enjoy the nature of the village before going back to the city. Amaka was infront of her home washing some clothes when the pastor passed by as he was taking a stroll. He noticed Amaka and walked up to her. As he was approaching towards her, he felt a strange presence in the compound and knew it was evil. He stopped at the center of the compound and asked Amaka to get him water. Amaka obeyed him without questioning him or driving him away from the compound. The pastor took the water from Amaka and kneed down and lifted it up to the sky. I pray that as I use this water to water this compound that you o Lord will bless this household and remove all the evil things planted on this ground, the pastor prayed. He poured the water on the ground and spiritually saw the evil things leave the compound. Amaka was amazed and asked the pastor what just happened. The pastor explained to her. Later that evening, the pastor came back to see Uzo and the rest of the family and explained everything that occurred. Everyone gave gave their life to Christ and became a new being.
A year later, Uzo became a wealthy businessman and very popular. Amaka had triplets, two girls and a boy. They lived happily ever mostly with GOD in their lives.
LESSON: Patient is key and love covers all things. Trust in GOD today.
