It is painful to see the evil going on right now. Every other year or so, some evil sickness or disease pops up and we don’t know what to do about it. A lot of things are going through my mind but essentially and I just wonder what we can do to save ourselves. Our lives are in danger. Our children, young or old,are fearful. We all live in fear that we may never see tomorrow. I ask myself: how did this new corona virus even come about?How did it start? What wrong has the whole world done to be afflicted by this disease? It’s really a matter of life and death. It surely calls for serious prayer.
I don’t intend to get into any analysis or go into details. I am not ready for that. I just ask everyone to please be safe. Please pray. Because of this disease, churches have closed down. Christians can’t gather anymore in community to meet as a church anymore to pray and worship God. We will have to sit at home on a Sunday – or other fellowship days – because of the situation of this evil virus. Schools have been shut down to later reopen when declared safe to. We are being limited from free movement as we would any regular day to certain places like we are used to. Everybody is wearing a mask or staying home.Some markets, restaurants, and stores are closed down too! How then do people feed themselves and their families? How do we cope? For anyone to travel both within and outside your immediate vicinity, one must think twice. There is the fear of embracing or even hand-shaking people, even people well known to us.
Plans have been shattered. What if I were to wed, would I have to cancel my wedding? Imagine the situation! I feel so bad. Sad.It’s really annoying! Will the hospitals have to close down too? Tell me, I’d like to know because the doctors and nurses are human beings too and they also need protection. This is not about a particular country, it is a pandemic that involves the entire world. This shouldn’t be, all because of this deadly virus
People have died, people are sick and in intensive care, others are under quarantine, or on a watch list, while some are sociallydistancing. I am using this medium to appeal to everyone to pray. No matter your religion, I beg you all to pray. We need prayers. The only protection we need is God’s protection. The devil has eaten too much, we need to repossess our land, and thisvirus indeed has no place in our land. Prayer is the key! Believe that you shall not die. Protect yourself, be safe, stay well, God be with us.
