What is myself?

I want to help you discover who you are as a person. What can people say about you, what kind of character do you possess? Are you someone people love or hate, are you good or bad person.

There should be something great about you that people would love to hear. No one is perfect but at least you can be good.

Look at the aspect of someone who wants to get married, when your inlaws to be go out and find out about who you are, will they hear good things about you, can people say the nicest qualities of you? Look at the area you live in, your compound, your work place, your church and other places, will people there, say good things about you? Can they beat their chest and say that you’re really the best ever. What character do you possess, people are watching you even if you think no one is looking at you. You don’t need to loud yourself, people will still notice you. Are you troublesome, do you like to quarrel even when there is no need, are you peaceful? Can people make you as their friend or not?

If you have a bad annoying character, nobody would want to take you out, they will feel embarrassed, they will be full of regrets and thoughts like why did I take this person out? It’s not good to wash your dirty laundry in the public, not that you should pretend about who you are but there are some things you should hide at least for a while. You can help yourself, counsel yourself, pray to God to give you a good character. Let people say nice things about you every time. No one should avoid your company. Is it how you want people to see you as, someone who people flee from once they hear your footsteps. Don’t allow the right people to bless you, run away from you. You can miss your job, life partners and other all because of the bad character you have. You always need to watch how you talk and what you say. Gossip, talking too much is another bad character in a person, always putting your mouth into what does not in anyway or shape concern you. Tame your tongue. That too is very important. Bad character can put one in a big trouble. It is the way you are that you will be addressed. Dressing too is another aspect that people will notice you for, you need to dress well to be addressed. What you wear can make people said good or bad things about you. You may not care about yourself now, but in future it will tell. Another character is being stingy. It is not good. You need to have a heart of giving. People should not see you as a greedy person.

Who are you to yourself and also to people around you? When you wake up in the morning, if you look at the mirror, do you see something good, do you like what you see? Can you admire your own self ? Do you greet people and they ignore you because of the bad egg in you? We all need to be good, it pays to be good, have a good character. Let the people around us have a reason to speak well of us. Above all, follow the way of God. God can help us to be a better person. Change, me too, I check myself everyday to know if I am still a good person. May God help us all.

I know this is a short write up compared to what I should write, but I know from this, you can get a lot of lessons. Always know who you are.
