CELEBRITY’S WORLD- ORIS

     Its another week on celebrity’s world here on WORDS FROM NANCY’S BLOG. Today, we have an upcoming artist, a gentleman, very talented and good looking too. I present ORIS. Hi Oris, You are welcome to celebrity’s world. I am so glad you are here.

1. First let’s know you, tell us about yourself.

ANS: I am Oritsegbubemi Emmanuel momodu, a Nigerian from Delta state. I grew up in Ologbo a small town in Benin city. Studied philosophy in Delta state university Abraka. I’m a cool and funny guy but self isolating at times. My hobbies are ;Reading , dancing , swimming and surfing the internet. My favorite food is Banga soup and starch made with fresh fish ,specially steamed with our native clay pot. I love fruits a lot especially banana and pineapple. I am very much single and focused in my career.

2.You are an upcoming musician, how did music start for you?

ANS: Well music for me is a natural thing. I can’t say categorically that this is when I started singing but i will say my style of song is clearly influenced by my time as a chorister in the United Church of Cherubim and seraphim.

3. What will you say inspires you to go into music?

ANS: Music is what we do in my family. It is used to send a message of caution, moral lessons , errands and fun.  I just want to express myself , I’ll say I got inspired by my desire to be a mouth piece of the people. Music to me is a tool to achieve that.

4. What  kind of music are you into and why?

ANS: I’m actually not concentrating on a particular Genre of music. I sing what comes in and whatever Genre that fits in, so be it. The most important thing for me is “passing a message

5. You have a new song coming out soon, please can you share more light about it?

ANS: Yes it’s titled PRAYER. This song tells more about the continues struggle to survive in the ghetto , the unanswered questions in the head of the common man and also a warning to those who’ve made it and living lavishly. It is a song for everyone.

 6. When you decided to go into music, did you get support from your family, I mean most parents want their kids to do professional courses, how was it for you?

ANS: Well My parents want me to sing . I enjoy full support from my parents sadly they don’t have the money to support.

7. In the music industry, who do you look up to and why

ANS: 2face idibia  , Yemi Alade, Davido, kiss daniel. These guys are not just good singers but are super creative , consistent and very hardworking.

8. Which musician in the future do you wish to collaborate with?

ANS: My dream is to do a song with 2baba. Infact I don’t know how I will be able to handle the emotion On that day.

9.What’s your feelings about the covid-19 situation?

ANS: Covid19 or coronavirus is real. It is dangerous and has no known cure for now. So I’m advising everyone to stay at home to stay alive. Let’s help humanity as a whole.

 

10. What do we look forward to in couple of years to come from you?

ANS: Oluwa answer prayer and bless my efforts. I’ll surely be at the very top making my fans proud.

11. What will you like to change in the music industry?

ANS: I’ll try my best to create a link between the upcoming and the top artist. Creating enabling environment for those who don’t have the resources to promote their songs.

12.What will be your advise to people who wants to go into music someday like you?

       ANS: Believe in what you believe in. Keep pushing and don’t give up. Success is not entirely what you achieve but you ability to push on even when you fall
