Government, the people in the power, high and mighty, the great people who sit in power and from there sees the terrible things that happens around. Are you saying you are blind to see what is going on? Can’t you see the chaos, havoc, the hungry people, no jobs, the people who has been put under you to protect and save? Can’t you hear the cry of the innocent, can’t you feel the pain of the people? Can’t you understand the meaning of pain? Everything is falling apart, lives are threaten and in danger. No one is safe anymore. In our own country, we live by fear of what may become of us this very minute. A lot of people are out there hoping and praying and seeking for what they can eat. Hunger is increasing day by day. You sit in your power seat and do nothing. You watch the killing of innocent people, their families mourn in so much grief, no one to fight for them. People, both the young and old are ready to do anything to survive. They are ready to do ritual, selling fake drugs, kidnapping, prostitution of young intelligent girls, even the guys are ready to sleep with women of any age just to make money. Students go to school and read hard to come out with first class or second class upper just to be able to get a job , but yet after school, after NYSC, guess what, no single available job. As early as possible, we must be home so as not to get attacked by armed robbers. Even in the our homes, they willingly walk in and rob us of what we have and what we don’t have. Government, are you aware that your people are ready to do anything to travel out of the country to other places to earn the living they wish for? We put your people in the position you are now, we voted you people to take care of us, to protect us, to fight on our behalf, you don’t do your job, you don’t fulfil your promises. The government doesn’t even care about people with disability, they don’t even understand them, talk more of caring . Common on, for us to go the hospital, we cannot go, why? Because you must pay first before a doctor can attend to us. Your people sell fake drugs to survive not minding if other people are dying. 419, yahoo, fraud is now the order of the day, dangerous things are happening now, no security, no hope, no vision, no care, nothing. Are you blind or deaf to know that something needs to be done. Don’t you listen to the news? I wish you can feel the pain of your people. You spend the money that is meant to change our lives, how cruel can you be? What wrong has the people done to deserve this suffering? No light, no food, is there clean water? Forget the smiling faces, your people are in pain, all is packaging. WAKE UP, WAKE UP, government, wake up.
Do something, you were put in power for a purpose. Why don’t you leave a good legacy so that people can remember you for good. Hmm, TINA is gone, her dreams and aspiration has ended, no more TINA, she died for no reason, for nothing, her mother, father, brother, siblings are mourning, they will never see her again in this life. A girl, who is about to write WAEC, to go to the university and become great, that dream has ended. How do you feel? I guess nothing, you don’t care because she is not your child. Policemen who are to protect the people, they are the ones that killed a little girl. I wonder why you say police is your friend because they are not. TINA is gone, what are going to do about it, I guess very soon the so called policemen will be freed and start living their life. What of UWA, tell me, what are you going to do? I am asking you, what are you going to do? Men raped a girl to satisfy their stupid sexual feeling, not one but men. How do you think she is doing now? How do you think she will be able to live, are you aware she can commit suicide now? God, this isn’t suppose to be. TINA and UWA are in pain, pain that will never go away. Government, wake up and do something now. We are asking for justice. Asking for a free happy life. Asking for a change. We are hurt, we are in sorrow, we are in fear, wake up. Are you not tired? What is wrong with you people, I ask? Everyone in authority is responsible for this, president, governors, senators, all of you, wake up. This must end. Do the right thing you are meant to do now. The death is too much, the suffering is bad. You must wake up , government. Fight for your people, fight for the poor, fight for the young and old, fight now. Our hearts are heavy. Take away corruption, take away everything evil. Make the country a better place, stop the killing, the riot, the war, the tears in our eyes. Save our country and let there be peace. We want justice for our people. Justice, justice…..
