Hi guys, welcome to another section of STUDENT’S TALK. This week, we are talking to another lovely student from Federal Unuversity of Agriculture, ABEOKUTA, she is also a model too. Today, she will be expressing herself on how the covid-19 has affected her. With no further delay, lets talk with PRECIOUS EKE-KALU.
1. Please can you introduce yourself to us.
ANS: My name is Precious Eke-kalu,am 19 years from Abia State in Nigeria,am from a family of five and am the fifth born,am also a fashion model.
2. What school and level are you in school?
ANS: Am a 200 level student of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
3..Concerning this Covid 19, as a student who is really affected, what can you say about it?
ANS: Everyone has been really affected, students wouldn’t move to next level,it as paused or rather delayed our educational system. Online classes has reduced the quality of education because there are lots of challenges attached to both the teacher and student.
4. How has it been for you staying home all this whole, have you discovered anything new about yourself or learnt something new?
ANS: Yes I have discovered a lot about myself,have been able to build myself spiritually, physically, mentally, intellectually and skillfully.
5.What will be the setbacks for you if schools are to resume now?
ANS: My setbacks will be the system rush because we have to catch up on all we have missed in terms of scheme and extra curriculum.
6. Giving an opportunity to talk to the government, what will you like to say to them?
ANS: Schools should still be left on hold.
They should also please learn how to place their priorities to the right angle, for instance, boosting the economy.
7. If school resumes now, will you feel different or the same?
ANS: I will feel the same way because it’s the same school am going back to and am already used to their system.
8.What will be your advice to students who are shifting their mind from schools now, a lot has happened and it has affected them badly?
ANS: Will let them know that we are all in this together,we just have to be Hopeful and remember that everything happens for a reason,it’s not the end of the world yet and getting a degree is important,they must have found other skills but without education how will they be able to make good use of it,so please they should still put their mind on going back to school after the pandemic.
9.What do we all hope to see in you in the next 5 years to come?
ANS: By God’s grace I will be a young successful independent lady.
