With the way Yvonne came in with her friends, it was magical when Mac set his eyes on her. He just couldn’t get her off his mind. He kept staring and it became obvious to Yvonne and her friends. Mac gathered by courage and decided to go say hi to them. The ladies responded to him very politely with a beautiful smile. Mac requested to have a private talk with Yvonne.
In the months following, Mac and Yvonne got to know each other and fell in love. Their love grew stronger and stronger. They became so fond of each other that no one could come in between them. Mac was so proud to tell the whole world that his love was for no one else but Yvonne. He took her out to different public places: the cinema, expensive restaurants, shopping, and more. Mac showered her with so many gifts nearly every day. He knew he had found his true love in Yvonne.
After a year, Mac decided to introduce Yvonne to his parents as the lady he intends to marry. Mac was so excited; he was so happy and couldn’t wait to her to be his wife. On a lovely evening, Mac sat his parents down and told them about his intentions about Yvonne. His parents were excited to hear the good news. Mac’s parents organized a dinner inviting Yvonne to their family house. They prepared a lot of food and drinks. They even decorated the house. They couldn’t wait to meet Yvonne after so many years of asking Mac to get married. Finally, Yvonne came to the house, she was driven by her personal driver to the house. As soon as they drove in, Mac and his parents came out to welcome Yvonne to their family house. They prepared a lot of food and drinks. They even decorated the house. As soon as they drove in, Mac and his parents came out to welcome Yvonne, they were extremely excited but as soon as the driver brought out the wheelchair from the trunk of the car and Mac walked to help him carry Yvonne to put her on the chair, Mac’s parents were dumbfounded! They couldn’t believe what just happened.
After what was an awkward first meeting, Mac’s parents decided that he should never marry Yvonne. They stood their ground to make sure Yvonne never became their daughter-in-law. Mac fought this decision however he knew. He did everything within his power to make his parents reason with him. He had to call some other family members and friends to get them to see reason, but his efforts were in vain. No one reasoned with him; they wondered why Mac should decide to marry a cripple about whom all doctors have said would never walk again. However, Yvonne’s parents were in support of the marriage. They lovedMac and believed that he will make a great husband to their daughter.
One day, Yvonne went to see Mac’s mum to talk to her personally. She got to their house and wasn’t welcomed well at all. Mac’s mum was frankly disgusted with Yvonne. She didn’t want to see Yvonne and decided to call the police on her. The police came over and asked Yvonne to please leave the house. Though the police felt sorry for her, they gently led her out of the house and warned her never to come close to the house again. Yvonne cried and cried, she was filled with pain and hurts in her heart. It was going to be hard to let Mac go since they were already deeply in love.
In life, no one can tell what would happen. Love can be found in places we don’t expect. Yvonne was truly a very interesting, fun and lovely person. Love came her way even when she had given up. Mac was true and genuinely fell in love with her. The obstacles they had to face just to be together was so much. The negative and hostile reception from family and friends, who felt that they shouldn’t be together was overwhelming. Sometimes though, love alone is not enough. Other things must also be in place for a relationship to work out. But can we fight for the love? Love is magnificent. It is special. Lo
Mac and Yvonne finally got married, there was a mutual understanding among everyone that these two love birds do deserve to be together. The challenges were there but they fought their way through and ended up happily married. God has destined someone for everyone. It doesn’t matter how you lookor what your challenges are, you have a designed partner made for you from Heaven. Open your heart. Accept each another, what matters most is that God’s hand is in it.
