THE MIRROR

Looking at the mirror, maybe at night or at day, you might not be dressing up to go out, maybe you just want to admire yourself or the mirror is close to you, what do you see? What version of yourself do you actually see, what are the statements or words that comes out from your mouth when you look at yourself through the mirror? Do you feel proud of who you are, do you love yourself or hate yourself, do you regard yourself worthy to be you. Have you ever looked at the mirror and complained about what you have become, when you stare at the mirror, what good or bad qualities can you truly say about you? Sometimes we say the awful things ever. We say things about ourselves which are not true at all. Can you believe what people compare you to be, for example, they say you are beautiful, you are strong, you are fine, you are good and all, but deeply, looking at the mirror, are you truly what they say you are, maybe we are the opposite, we are not that all righteous individual they say we are.

Looking at the mirror, do you wish you were someone else, do you feel to change anything about yourself because of the scenario going on around you everyday by everyday? Do you feel tied down to the image you are now and want to break free to become a whole new different personality? If you were to change the person of who you are now, would you do it or never change anything at all. The face you see looking at the mirror, do you really like what you see, the shape of the body you may have, do you wish to change it too or be okay with it? What is the happy side and the unhappy side of yourself looking at the mirror?

We often compare ourselves to others, we often want to be the next person besides us because we don’t admire ourselves anymore. We hide under the shadow of what the people are saying, it hits us in the head and we hate our faces, bodies and our whole life in general. To us, we want people to accept us and then we make a mistake and fall deep into the wrong way and our entire whole is totally crushed down. We look at our mates and they are more successful than us, we feel less not knowing that there is a better tomorrow, we have a competition in our head which leads us wrongly. We need to look at the mirror and love ourselves, look at it and say positive things about who you are. I am blessed, I am beautiful or handsome, I am happy and not sad, I am a child of God. I love you who I am, I am made for success and not failure.

So why do you get up, make your hair, put on some beautiful make up on, wear that suit, look bold and fearless and look at the mirror and look up and not down and say the positive things you desire about yourself not minding what others say about you because, they are not the one that made you but God in heaven, so always admire yourself. You are much more that what you can imagine that you are.

No matter what, you are who you are when you look at the mirror.
