MY SISTER, MY SISTER

Who do you call your sister? How do you see them, are they your blood sisters, friends, ladies from work, sisters from church, your neighbors? Who do you consider to be your sister?

To be honest anyone can be your sister. Someone who you call on and she is there to answer without wasting time. A sister is considered to be someone who you could tell anything, tell her your secret, tell her how good or bad your day was. Tell her things to make you guys so close. A sister who is willing to help you at all times. You both share stuffs together, watch movies and chill together. You both eat together too. My sister, my sister

My  sister, my sister, she is strong and fearless. My sister is one who prays for me, someone who won’t abandon me. A sister I can reply on. My sister is my friend, I won’t trade her for anything in this world. I love my sister so much. My sister, she has shaped the life I live now. At every opportunity she gets, she never fails to correct me when I am wrong, my sister defends me in the midst of it all. My sister guides me and protects me. When she is not there, she still finds a way to make sure that I am very okay. She never fails to encourage me and gives me hope that tomorrow, my tomorrow will be fine. She puts a lot things in my hands to take care of because she trusts me to do my very best. She is funny, her jokes, sometimes boring but I still laugh at them. Her confidence is sure. She is someone whose faith is strong and believes that with God all things are possible. My sister, my sister, has a heart of giving, a person of great values and morals. Everyone adores her and honors her.

Through the storm, rain, sun, day or night, I know I have a sister. I am happy to have her. She will never leave my sight. Thank you for being my sister. Thank you for being there. Thank you for everything. My sister, I love you so much.

This piece is dedicated to IFEOMA EZEJEMADU AND MARY ANYAKWO. Happy birthday to Ifeoma, many more years to you . I love you both dearly.
