You are very important. You are priceless. You are not a mistake to this world. A lot of us has lost ourselves in this world, we are living in. We have taken what people say to us and accept it just like that because we can’t challenge them or defense ourselves. There will be different points in our lives that we need to stand up to ourselves and know who we are. I ask, how do you look at yourself? Do you take time to appreciate the beautiful image that God has made? If people disrespect you and call you names, what do you do about it? We are beautiful and handsome.
Parents, sometimes, please do sit down and know what your children what. Parents tend to forget that their kids need support and not being forced to do what they don’t want to do. Every single one of us should know our worth. If people look down on you because of their own personal reason, that is their business. They shouldn’t determine what you are. No one is ugly. No one is an animal. No one is useless. No one is worthless. We are specially made by God. It is said that God saw everything He has made and it was good in His eyes. A lot of us have low self esteem. We give up on ourselves because of the evil things said to us.
Look at the story of Cinderella, the step mom and sisters saw that the girl was special and she had a lot of worth. She had potential and if they don’t subdue her or punish her as they did, she will become their master. But it didn’t stop her from thinking bigger for herself and she kept on dreaming that some day, she will be that great person she always wanted to be. And at the end of the day, she got to the palace. She knew her value. She held on to her worth. She kept reminding herself of the praises that her father always rain on her and she kept on moving. No matter who you are or what you have, people will always insult you. I don’t even know what people from us. Do this, we do it. Don’t do this, we don’t do it. Yet, people will always look down on us.
Many girls of now, even men wants a rich person to marry them. They want to go to Dubai, London, America, Paris and all the beautiful places in the world. They look down on the people (men and women) who are coming for them for a good relationship because they are broke, they don’t have money to take care of them. No one knows tomorrow. Everything can change for good within a second.
See, talk to yourself everyday, that you are made for good. You are special. You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation. If some people don’t value you leave them alone, God will bring people to honor you and value you. People that will hold you with so much respect. You are good just the way you are. And, don’t change for anyone to love you oo. Don’t do that. Be the way you are.
Love yourself. Don’t listen to the negative things that people say about you. You are very special.
