Work and a lot of factors like family, friends and school and more has taken our mental health away from us and we don’t find time to take care of ourselves anymore. We have stopped looking good and beautiful as we ought too and it’s like the entire work load is on our shoulder. Our friends has stopped telling us to take care of ourselves, because we don’t want to listen to them. Their words are like a wind that blows in the air and never holds weight. Yes, we all have a lot bothering us and we may not have the time to go to the salon, to the spa, to have fun with friends and family or have the alone time. We have a lot on our hands, deadlines there and there, targets that we want to meet and all. Some of us don’t get enough sleep because we need to finish the work by morning. We don’t want to lose our jobs, so we have overtime to get the promotion we deserve and forget how we look.
We don’t look good anymore. We are rushing in and out and forget to even iron the dress we are wearing. We forget to comb our hair or maybe look at the mirror to see if our faces are ok or not. We have forgotten our body care, our health care and focused on things that are causing aches on our body. We don’t mind having the pain, as long as we get the money and ambition we want. We have targeted ourselves at a particular time and if we don’t get it, we loose our cool and control and throw the blame on our loved ones, people who really do care about our health. As if they don’t want our progress, as if, they don’t want us to make it in life. We curse them and neglect them. All what they are doing is to make sure that we are doing fine. Most of us forget to eat, or manage to eat once a day. Mothers are busy with the kids and have forgotten how to look good as they were before they gave birth. It is not easy but we can put in effort.
We have carried a lot on our shoulders and we no longer care about ourselves. We are now being compared to the next person besides us. This comparison is done by our own people. By the time, it dawns on us, we may or may not lose what we have. Take time to take care of yourself. Let’s all put in efforts to look good. Travel for vacations, read a book, go to the beach, to the cinema, enjoy life to the fullest. Live your life, sometimes just go out, you need to spend a lot of money, a little can be enough. take off your mental health before you break down. Forget the work load and free yourself from pressure.
