DAUGHTER: I miss my father, where is He? I can’t seem to find Him. I have searched and searched but no hope. I have so many concerns and it’s only my father that can answer me. Father, please come to my aid, I do need you.
A daughter is longing to have a conversation with her father. She keeps waiting on Him to give her audience. She has a lot on her mind and only He can understand her heart.
But finally, with lots of patience, her father finally replies to her.
Father: Hey daughter, I am finally here.
The daughter runs to him with so much joy. She gives him a big hug.
DAUGHTER: You came!
Father: Why would you even think that I won’t come?
Daughter: It’s been so long. I’ve been calling on you. I have been knocking, no door opened, I asked, no answer, nothing. I almost gave up on you coming to answer me.
Father: My darling daughter, you are just like most Christians.
Daughter: Father, how do you mean?
Father: You see, my children nowadays have refused to understand patience. They’re jumping from one place to the other looking for how to survive. They are looking for answers and they don’t believe that I am always here to answer them.
Daughter: Father, I believe that the answers they are seeking take too long to arrive, so they give up.
Father: So, trusting in me is too much to ask?
Daughter: I believe that trusting you isn’t too much for me., but I have been waiting on you for so long and…
Father: My daughter, everyone needs to know that I have here for them. You all shouldn’t give up me. I will always come through for you and them. My people shouldn’t be weak in their waiting. My answer will show up at the right time.
Daughter: I will never give up on you, my father.
Father: Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart. the Bible verse here teaches Christians that they should put their trust in me, and I will direct them. My timing is for their own good.
Daughter: My father always comes through for me.
Father: Yes, my child, I will always. So, what is it you want?
Hi guys, you have been waiting for God to answer you. You must have given up. But God is reminding you today that He has not forgotten you. He loves you so much and HE will never leave you. Trust Him, be patient and He will do great things for you.
