1. What are the biggest challenges Nigeria faces today, and how do you think they can be addressed?

ANSWER: Biggest challenges: Insecurity, corruption, economic instability, and infrastructure deficits. Addressing them requires a multi-faceted approach, including governance reforms, investment in education and infrastructure, and economic diversification.

2. In what ways has the Nigerian economy evolved in recent years, and what are the emerging opportunities?

ANSWER: Nigeria’s economy has diversified, with growth in sectors like tech, agriculture, and entertainment. Emerging opportunities include digital innovation, renewable energy, and tourism development.

3. How has the Nigerian entertainment industry, especially Nollywood and Afrobeats, impacted global perception of Nigeria?

ANSWER: Entertainment industry impact: Nollywood and Afrobeats have showcased Nigerian talent globally, changing perceptions and promoting cultural exchange.

4. How do you think the education system in Nigeria can be improved to better serve the next generation?

ANSWER: Education system improvement: Invest in teacher training, infrastructure, and curriculum reform. Emphasize skills development, STEM education, and vocational training.

5. Which Nigerian dish would you recommend to someone visiting Nigeria for the first time?

ANSWER: Recommended dish: Jollof rice, a flavorful one-pot dish representing Nigerian cuisine’s diversity.

6. What’s a uniquely Nigerian habit that most outsiders wouldn’t expect?**

ANSWER: Unique habit: The “Nigerian hustle” – resourcefulness and resilience in the face of challenges.

7. If Nigeria had an official national dance, what would it be and why?

ANSWER: National dance: The “Azonto” – a lively, energetic dance reflecting Nigerian culture’s vibrancy.

8. If you could invite three famous Nigerians (alive or historical) to a dinner party, who would they be?

ANSWER: Dinner party guests: Chinua Achebe (author), Fela Kuti (musician), and Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti (activist).

9. How would you describe the religious system in Nigeria, and how has Christianity for one played a role in the development of the nation?*

ANSWER: Nigeria has a complex religious landscape, with Christianity and Islam being major influences. Christianity has played a significant role in education, healthcare, and social development.

10. Nigerians are known to be survivalists no matter how tough the economy is. What are some of those survival modes Nigerians indulge in and how sustainable would you say they are?*

ANSWER: Nigerians engage in various survival strategies, such as informal trading, entrepreneurship, and communal support. While resourceful, these modes are not always sustainable and require support from governance and economic development.
