NOT HARD

NOT HARD

How big do we think we are, or how small do you think you are? You carry your shoulders so high, yet there is nothing solid inside of you. You look down on others as though you are high and mighty. How much do you have in your bank account that makes you feel on top of the world and puts others below you? Have you looked at yourself carefully in the mirror? What do you see? Is it something good or something bad?

You lack respect; you dislike people. Because someone mistakenly stepped on your shoe, you slapped them without thinking twice about it. You don’t care who the person is—whether they are your senior or junior, you disregard them like they are not human beings. You are ready to insult them without caring how hurtful your words are, how piercing and painful they are to their hearts. You have gone too far. What exactly will it take for you to respect someone? What exactly will it take for you to love someone? You see an elderly person in need of a little assistance, and you quickly ignore them. You look down on them with ease.

Wow, clap for yourself. I mean, you are doing well. You deserve an award for your bad attitude. You open your mouth to curse people like they are trash—though they are not. But you are fine with it, as long as you remain in charge and in control of their lives because you have money and power in your hands. How can you be unreasonable? How can you be wicked? Why is it said that the rich should associate with the rich and the poor with the poor? Who gave that wicked law? Where did it come from—a policy or what exactly?

You have turned a blind eye to seeing good in people. As far as you are concerned, you don’t want to do anything to help others. You should learn to respect people. Acknowledge their hard work and give them the applause they deserve. Don’t be wicked. Stop looking down on people. Everyone needs our help. Honor them and respect them.

This is not hard. We can do this. I pray that we all have a heart to respect people.
God bless you.
