Every day, we hear many voices. Some speak the truth, while others tell lies. Often, we are drawn to the lies because they sound sweet, inviting, and entertaining. They agree with our desires and decisions, even when they do not truly benefit us. The lies are appealing because they seem to offer us what we want, without requiring us to consider the consequences.
The whisper encourages us to move forward without pausing to discern whether we are hearing the right voice. It is loud, exciting, and aligned with our preferences. We are often tempted to follow voices that lead us in the wrong direction simply because they sound pleasant. In doing so, we neglect wise counsel and patience. Instead of thinking critically about the impact of these voices, we embrace them, even when they lead us away from righteousness.
This deceptive whisper has caused many to change their character—from good to bad, from humble to proud, from loving to hateful. It has led some to abandon the right path, replacing truth with confusion. God created each of us fearfully and wonderfully, with intentionality and purpose. He made no mistakes. Therefore, we must not allow the voice of deception to redefine who we are.
We must reject the voice that contradicts God’s truth. It has led many astray, but we have the power to silence it. Let us choose to listen only to God’s voice—the voice of truth, love, and purpose. You are special, valuable, and deeply loved by God. Honor and protect the body He has given you. Do not be deceived by the lies that seek to destroy your identity and purpose.
Listen to the good voice. Listen to God.
