CELEBRITY’S WORLD- FELIX CAROLINE THACHER

Hello everyone, I welcome you to another time on CELEBRITY’S WORLD. Today, we have an important guest who has done well for herself and the society at large, she is the Vice President of FUTA SUG, AKURE, ONDO STATE, NIGERIA and we will discussing with her on how her role has affected everyone around her positively. I introduce to you, FELIX CAROLINE THACHER…….

1. Can you Introduce yourself?

ANS: I’m Felix Caroline Thacher. A 400 level student of the Federal University of Technology Akure, and the current Vice President of her students’ union.

2. You are a female Activist, what motivated that?

ANS: My motivation is simple yet strong. “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I want to see a political ecosystem where ladies are involved, and bringing about sustainable change and developments, so yes I don’t just want to dream I want to bring it to realization too. This is what drives me.

3.  You are also a Volunteer for some NGOs, why do you think, that is the best way to go?

ANS:  😊 my reasons are based on a clear ardent passion to give back to the community, and volunteering for some NGO’s is one of the platforms to do so and yes it brings you closer to the people you intend to serve, meanwhile it as well contributes to the personal leadership growth of the volunteer.

4. Do you think as FUTA 02, you have done exceeding well for the mandate giving to you?

ANS: Yes definitely, I can’t begin to count the achievements of our Administration (myself and other executives) in advocating for our students and bringing developments to the institution and the union. We are doing well and I’m certain we’ll leave the union in a better state than we met it.

5. Any odd when contesting/aspiring for this said post?

ANS:  I have this strong belief that nothing good comes easy…thanks to my teammates we were able to stay strong even at the face of political propagandas, threats from opposing sides, campaigns stress amongst many others.

6. Where your parent in support mode for this?

ANS: My parents were fully in support, and they have assured of their endless supports in my future ambitions.

7. If you are giving opportunity to serve in either state or federal capacity in Government, do you have a prepared script to act on and what is that thing you will change for ever (history) ?

ANS: Well I know the needs of people are dynamic and endless…  but one thing I’ll love to really work on if given the opportunity to serve my people is the issue of power/Electricity… I strongly believe with that sorted all whole lot of things will be settled.

8.  What is your worst day at FUTA 02?

ANS: Hmmmmm…. I’ve had moments but then I can’t classify them worse. On bad days I console myself with this statement “It can only get better, it can’t get worse” and yes it gets better.

9. Do you have any advice for other students looking up to you ?

ANS: Put God first, Stay strong, stand Tall, you can be whatever you want to be if you put your heart to it.

10.  How do you see Nigeria education in the next 10yrs?

ANS: Truth be told… with the current turnout of events, and with the continuous declination in the Educational sector, if something drastic is not done, we might have not have an a educational system that really educates anymore. Because most of those materials and method used are outdated and not 21st century standards.

Alright, we have heard from Caro herself. It has been very interactive and educative session on today’s interview. I  hope you all picked one or two thing positively.

Still I come your way again next time, stay positive, keep safe and God bless you. Bye……
