Happy thanksgiving everyone!
It’s another year of thanksgiving, to say thank you Jesus. I am so excited! Are you?
So what does thanksgiving mean to you? What significance does it play in your life? In fact, the question should be “why should we even give thanks to God”? There are so many meanings to what thanksgiving is. Well, thanksgiving is a time of celebration and thanks to God for all He has done for us since the beginning of the year; a time for families to come together and reunite; a time to dance, eat and make merry, a time to honor God with our thanks and gratitude for all his loving kindness towards us all. It is a time to forgive and forget all the bad things done to us, a time to come to gather and show love to one another, a time to rejoice and be happy and to smile, a time of laughter to refresh the soul, a time to forget all your worries and be happy, a time to share gifts and receive back as well, a time of testimony and fulfillment, a time of do something nice and kind to people around you, a time to come together and make merry, and a time to pray together.
I know for a fact that some people may not want to do these things due to one reason or the other, some haven’t yet received whatever blessings they were waiting for, things may not be working out well for them, and some are mourning loss of a loved one. A lot could have happened and it may be hard to celebrate thanksgiving. The Bible tells us that, in everything, we should give thanks. It’s hard, it’s painful, but this is a time for us to put all those negative things aside and give thanks to GOD. Let the past be in the past and let’s thank God for a greater and better future. Come on, let’s be thankful! Our thanksgiving makes ways, it puts us in a position to ask God to bless us even more, and it opens the door of heaven for us all. It doesn’t matter what your situation may be, or what you are going through, you can beat it. I mean, you are still alive to work towards and see your dreams come true. Be positive, be strong, keep growing your faith and know that all will be fine. This is the time for you to be extra-joyful and so put the devil to shame, I believe that your blessing is on the way. Just give thanks to God, he makes a way where there seems to be no way.
So guys, grab your turkey and eat to your satisfaction and merry with family and loved ones! .
