What comes to your mind when you feel sad and down, feel like the world is about to end and there is nothing to give you that joy you truly desire? You have done all you need to do and it has failed. The hope you need, has gone off. Maybe the people around you are too busy to help or have done a lot of thing they feel they can do and yet you still fill that way and you have totally given up, everything has just fallen down to the ground.
Guess what, I have great news for you, which is THE WORD. All we need is the Word of God. The Bible is our weapon, it encourages us, it makes us get closer to our maker in Heaven. The Bible is our hope. When we take our time to read the word, our mindset changes and things that we find so difficult in our lives changes for good. The Bible is more like our textbook as a christian. It is easy now to just download it on our phones and iPad. We use our phones and iPad everyday so we can get easy access to reading the word of God. The Bible makes us understand the reason for us to be christian, as we continue to read His Word, our eyes are open to things that we never know. What’s written in bible helps us to live our daily life as God instructs us to live which is Christ-like. Imagine if we had no bible at all, how do we live our lives, what directions to we follow to know the path of God, we may never have known what happen in the beginning of the world and all we have learnt so far as a christian. Its our duty to have time to read and meditate on the word of God everyday. As parents too to grown adults, we should teach our children the importance of reading the Bible. A lot of are guilty of not creating time to read our Bible, the Bible is our weapon of warfare. When we wake up at night and we want to pray and fight the principalities and the rulers of darkness, we have to use scriptures to back up our prayers and pull the devil down. Reading the word of God should be our daily lifestyle. It won’t take anything away us to do it. The Word gives us life, we take our Bibles to church so that when the pastor asks us to open our bible, we open and read along with him or her so as to look deeper ourselves to gain more wisdom and understanding and the purpose of his Word in our lives. The Word of God helps us focus on God very well and allows us have a good relationship with God too. It increases our spiritual level with God. Reading the word keeps on our daily track with how we live as Christians, it guides us and it educates us as christians. We need to know a lot of verses in the Bible of head. The Bible is an expression of God’s loves to us for us to see all his wonders of creation in the world. We can’t live without the Bible, It should always be a part of us. Remember this song:

I am sure a lot of us remembers and knows the song. Prayer is the master key and we should add reading the Bible too and our spiritual life will grow. So, when last did you read your bible, how many verses of the Bible do we know of our heads? Not everyone is good with reading but we can ask Holy Spirit to help us. It is not only to read but meditate deeply on the Word. So read and pray. God bless you……………..
