From the guys to the ladies, from the ladies to the guys, and almost, if possible, from everywhere and everyone, we all crave attention. Walking into somewhere and you want everyone to notice you, your dressing, your hair, your suit, your make up, the perfume you are wearing, the car you drive and more, it makes you happy. The ladies just want to show case their body type and how hard it can be for a guy to get her. She wants the guy to fight and fight hard to see how strong and worthy this guy truly desires her. That’s why most ladies, the single ones, come late for an event to get that attention, hoping to meet a cute guy to ask them out. Attention is sought by all; it is desired, and it makes one to fill on top of the world. It like a control that takes over you, and that feeling you have just lightened you up and the whole place.
Let me tell a story: A lady of 25 years old, bold, dark skinned, a very ambitious person. She could be full of herself and arrogant too. She doesn’t care what people say about her character. She does her thing and makes sure she succeeds at all costs. She is confident in herself, ability, work, she is a goal getter and just want to reach the highest level in life. Her name is CHILE.
Chile is so beautiful, she has a company named after her father’s name, TONY, TONY’S ADVERSTIZING COMPANY. This company helps a lot of businesses both small and big to become popular, they also promote blogs, YouTube channels, Instagram, and all social media platforms to be big. Chile is the CEO for over five years now and has grown the company to become one of the sorts after company in the world. A lot of people, big people invite her for motivational speeches and encourage young adults on how to be the best. With all her achievements, she is one person most people fear because she is very arrogant. Chile loves the camera; she is always looking forward to being on the camera. Tv shows, radio station, awards, magazines, and newspaper recognition, she loves the whole package that comes with it. In seeking for the attention, she needs, she has also made a lot of enemies. People hate her because of her arrogance. She talks to people anyhow. Looks down on people without minding how they feel.
She has made all the money, lots of money. She buys the latest cars, new clothes almost every week, she loves to shop a lot. She must be seen with something new from her closet and she shows it off on all social media platform. She loves it when people comment, tags her on a post, when people post her pictures, she enjoys the papazari. Whenever she goes to, she wants people to notice her. Her clothes and shoes are always on point. People just want her autograph; a lot of guys are falling for her, but she declines them because she feels they are not up to her level. She gets a whole lot of attention. She is rounded by people who wants to associate with her, but she gives them bad attitude. Well, you know what they say about your character to people, especially how you treat people just because you feel they are lower than you, it will put you in serious trouble if you do not change. You will get burnt and it will destroy you too. Ahnnn, Chile, if only she knew that her character would land into a big mess, she would have been a better person.
Well, let say, your sins will find you out, so some group of people in the society came together and decided to destroy her life, they decided to end her life because they couldn’t stand her anymore. They kidnapped her after one of her events on her way to the hotel she was lodged in. She was taken to a very lonely dark place, somewhere outside where she lived, very far for no one to find her. She was beaten and abused, even raped by some of the guys, three of them. She was maltreated in a very horrible way and destroyed, mentally, physically, and more. Even her legs were damaged, they hit her legs with strong mental tools repeatedly. She couldn’t walk or move. She was broken. She was unrepairable. For days turning into weeks and then it turned into months, four months, she was declared missing by her family and friends and workers. No one could find her, the police searched and searched but to no avail. After four months, Chile was found.
The gang who kidnapped her finally released her since they have gotten what they wanted which was to destroy her life. She was dropped right in front of a hospital, and they ran away in the middle of the night for no one to see or catch them. It was the gateman of the hospital that saw her and alerted the doctors and nurses to come save her life. Few days later, she was confirmed to a wheelchair and was able to respond to treatment. She also lost her adverting company, it was burnt to the ground and it was the same people who kidnapped her that burnt it. Apparently, when she was kidnapped, the men told her that they were going to burn it down. Chile fully recovered, she was taken to her family house in the village. Her home in the city was also sold out and there was no prove that she owned the house or any of the expensive cars she had. Her whole world was broken and chattered, she lost herself, her dignity, everything, she worked for over five years was taken or destroyed. She was totally confirmed to a wheelchair. Her parents had to take care of her for the rest of her. While she was in the village, she received a letter saying,
YOUR QUEST FOR ATTENTION HAS DESTROYED YOU FOREVER. YOU DID IT THE
WRONG WAY. HOPE YOU HAVE LEARNT YOUR LESSONS……….

The story is a sad one, I guess so. Some will say it is good for her and some will pity her. As for me, I really pity her. Depending on how you see it, attention could be of good or bad or worst. Chile took it the wrong way and she ended up falling and her life was destroyed. I hope this story has made you learn one or two things.
