The difficulty of some people in this world we live in is how to say thank you. They find it so hard to allow the two words to come out of their mouth. Some people don’t have an heart of appreciation. They see it as a very big task to take. They have taken it to heart and annoyed the fellow person beside them. Saying thank you is not in their dictionary at all.
Some are being forced to say the words too. Some people say thank you but they still require some more entitlement from some individuals. We were taught from an early age to say thank you, but somehow, we have grown up to discard it. What is so difficult in showing how appreciative you are when somebody does good for you? What is so hard in showing back how grateful you acknowledge the help rendered to you? Are you doing the right thing? Thank you shows how disciplined and responsible you are, it tells people that you are from a good home. No one is expecting you to give back in return but at least be grateful. With that kind of bad attitude you display when you don’t say thank you, no one will want to help you again in this life. Our hearts are not made of stone, it is made soft, to show love, care, being good and other great values. Appreciation to someone has gone a long way in people’s lives, it brings more help, more acceptance, more assurance, more goodies and so much more. People will continue to assist you, from time to time. The thought of saying thank you is of the mind. Its you that must know the right thing to do and do it as at when due. Don’t be forced to say thank you, don’t be pushed in saying the words, let your heart tell you.
Even little kids know how to say thank you. They collect a gift and say thank you with so much joy on their faces. So I ask, how often do we say thank you to people? Let’s have the attitude and grace from today to say thank you. Its not hard at all and you will be glad you did so.
May God help us to say THANK YOU.
