WE SOMETIMES OVERLOOK HER

When I was a child, my MUM was my alarm clock, she will wake me up to pray and prepare for school, made sure I had the most nourishing breakfast ever, drive me to school and wish me an aMy MUM is my best friend, she is full of life. A praying mum that never forgets her own child. SHE is a woman of great values that I learnt so much from her. She will heal my wound and kiss me at my forehead and hug me so close to her to show me how much she cares for me. SHE is reliable, she remembers my birthdays, days I have appointments to catch up with, cover me when it’s so cold at night and I have to sleep. Makes me happy. Her smile and laughter makes me secure that tomorrow will be a better day. My mum, everyone loves her, adores her, cherishes her, respects her and values her. She is powerful, my prayer partner, my best friend. I will always remember her for all the good works she has done for me. She will care for me when I am sick and I get stronger again. She fits for me no matter the circumstances. A woman of excellence, no one can take her place, she is noble, she is beautiful, got the brains and all, she pushes me to be a successful person. She is understanding and goes the extra mine for me and my siblings.  We cry together, solves problem together

She is strong. She will lie down her life to us live in a good condition. She will take all the insults for our sake. She will keep us away from evil. She does a lot for us each and every single day. She never fails in keeping her promises. She never fails to help us. Always there for events at our school, offices, churches, social gatherings and more. She is there to encourage us at the time we want to give up. All and more she does for us.

So I ask all of us, why do we ignore the mother we have? After all her struggles, after everything, she has done for us, why we do we forget it all? Do we feel the pain she went through just for our sake? In the World today, a lot of children has forgotten their mothers. They don’t want to be associated with them anymore. According to them, their mother doesn’t fit the part of a successful man or woman they have become today. They forget how their mom took them and did a lot for you and your siblings. It’s sad because kids forget the labor of their parents. I wonder why it’s like that? You deny them like they don’t exist. we should not forget the labor of our mum. we should learn to love our mum without people telling us. Let us not forget who she is to us. She is the best. All she needs is our prayers and to make her proud. We love you so much MUMMY.
