Let’s talk,
What is respect, what is your value when you are not morally sound? One thing, we grew up with is that our parents taught us how to respect people especially our elders. They taught us how to kneel down or bow down and appreciate people. We were taught how to say thank you when we receive gifts from people. As kids, if you see an elder , even in a social gathering (a party of families) and you don’t greet, they look at our parents that they did not train us well. Moral values are very important in one’s life. For example, you go out and mistakenly, someone maybe hit you so hard, what do you do? I know it’s painful but will you just begin to insult the person or talk to the person in a calm manner? How will you react? Moral value is important. It is said that charity begins at home.
A child misbehaves and they wonder what kind of parents gave birth to the child. The blame is on the parent not necessarily on the child. The generations now are children who basically find it hard to greet their elders. We should learn how to behave both in the house and outside our house. People are looking at us. Our moral behavior determines if someone will marry you, if someone can work with, if someone can call you a friend, if someone can trust you, if someone can love you, if someone can respect you and more. No one wants to be associated with a bad person but a good person. It is said that show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. It is also said in the Bible that bad company corrupts good manner. Do you see an elder who is caring loads and try to help or you just pass by like you didn’t see the person at all? Some of us can’t associate with the people because they are poor and you are richer, what if you become poor today and all your so-called friends leave you? You can’t greet your pastor, you just walk away, no moral value. You can’t respect your friends, you down grade them at every give chance. You disrespect your gateman, you disrespect the little girl helping you with chores at home, the cleaners at work, your driver, your neighbor, you disrespect people because they are not your standard, who gave you a standard, who?
Let’s teach our younger ones how to respect their elders. Even our mates, we should respect our mates too, its important. Let’s respect people around us. Moral value of today can tell what happens in the future.
Lesson 101, very important. God bless you❤️❤️❤️
