As we all know, Mother’s Day has come and gone. A day to celebrate our great mum who has been with us since the day we were born. I can imagine how it was to carry the pregnancy for nine good months. Wow, our mothers need to be appreciated. They love us, care for us, accommodate all our troubles and do more than we can image. They can go to any length just to make us happy. They suffer, struggle and labour so hard to make sure we have food to eat, clothes to wear, roof over our heads, education, money in our account and more. We are the source of their joy. We are their labour, we need to try and make them happy at all time. You can trust and count on your mom at all time, surely they try not to disappoint us. Our mummies are our friends too, you can confide in them, they give the best and good advise. They know us more than we know ourselves. They know when we are sad, angry, moody. They help carry some of burden away. Our mum prays for us everyday. They care for us more than themselves. They tolerate us. They fight for us. They stand by us. They make us feel on top the world. They rather starve for us to eat. She tries to make sure that our future marriage will be great.
They understand our pain. My mum, my friend, a woman of substance, she is warm, she is beautiful, she is intelligent, she is my rock. My mum, my friend, my gossip partner, my mentor, my adviser, my great teacher, she is patience, she is strong, she loves her home. God made her a woman to protect us from evil as God does for his beloved children too. Her heart is pure, her mind is opened. She is a giver, a carrier, a winner, an asset. Her husband adores her, her husband values her. Her children cherish her. Her children respects her. My mum, my friend, a woman dear to my heart, very important. A woman who is always there for me. A woman who checks up on us to know if we are alright. A woman who will stand tall and people respects. My mom, my friend, very compassionate, very understanding, she is responsible. No matter our faultiness, she will never leave us. She gives us hope for a great tomorrow and a brighter future. She gives us strength if we fall weak. She roars like a lion. She is bold and ready to fight those against her own.
I love you mummy. I appreciate you for all you have done. I thank you for standing by us all these years. You are my world. Thank you for supporting me. For the hope you have given us. Thank you lord for giving us a great person who we call mom. A woman we love. Thanks mum for being so wonderful to us. Thank you for your blessing, encouragement and everything else.
We pray that God will give you long life, you will not die. You will celebrate, you will be happy, you will go higher and higher in all that you do. Anything you lay your hands to do shall prosper. You will never lack anything good in your life. You will be the head and not the tail. God will keep you away from evil. Your life shall be full of blessings.
