CHAPTER 1
Angela was an amazing hairdresser who had been styling people’s hair for over five years. She was known around the world, and everyone loved her creativity.
One day, her customer, Madam Oluchi, came to greet her and get a new hairstyle.
Madam Oluchi: Angela, Angela! How are you?
Angela: I’m fine. How are you, ma? Have you come to change your hairstyle?
Madam Oluchi: Yes, I’ve come for you to make my hair beautiful.
Angela: No problem. I’ve got you!
Three hours later, Angela finished styling Madam Oluchi’s hair. Everyone in the salon admired it.
Another customer: Oh my goodness, Angela! You’ve outdone yourself again. This is beautiful! Let me take a picture so you can make this style for me next time.
Everyone was thrilled. Angela didn’t just style your hair; she made it so beautiful that you wanted the whole world to see it.
CHAPTER 2
Madam Oluchi was delighted with her new hairstyle. She thanked Angela and went out to tell others about her wonderful work.
She told everyone who would listen, encouraging them to visit Angela’s salon. She never forgot the care and creativity Angela had put into styling her hair.
As word spread, more customers came from far and wide. Everyone wanted Angela to style their hair, and many were happy to wait for their turn. Her reputation grew, and her business continued to flourish.
CHAPTER 3
Let Angela’s care and creativity remind you of God’s goodness. He is our loving Father, who cares for us and meets us at our point of need. He is faithful, hears us when we call and responds according to His wisdom and love.
God brings beauty into our lives in many ways. It may not be through a hairstyle, as Angela did for Madam Oluchi, but through His provision, guidance, comfort and the people He places around us.
So, how do we appreciate Him? Do we return to say thank you, or do we walk away without acknowledging His goodness?
Think about Madam Oluchi. She was grateful for her beautiful hair, and she didn’t keep her appreciation to herself. She told others about Angela and gladly invited them to the salon.
Why shouldn’t we also share the good news about God?
Today, social media gives us another way to tell people about Him. If starting a conversation in person feels difficult, we can begin by sharing a testimony, a Bible passage or a simple message of encouragement online.
God’s love is too wonderful to keep to ourselves. As we share the gospel of Jesus Christ, we invite others to know His love and experience His goodness.
If we call ourselves children of God, how do our words and actions reflect Him? Do people see His love, kindness and goodness in the way we live?
CHAPTER 4
Go out today and tell someone about God. Share what He has done for you. Let people know that He is a loving Father who cares for them.
Speak truthfully about His goodness, and let your life reflect the love you describe. Share stories from the Bible that reveal His character and point people to Jesus.
God desires people to turn to Him and receive eternal life. Don’t be ashamed to share the good news of His love.
