HONOR YOUR FATHER

There are lots of things that God has asked us to do but we are struggling with it. We find it so difficult to obey God. We play deaf ears to what He is saying and we do only what is beneficial to us. God is speaking to us and we listening to another thing. We are so much doing everything we can do, just to avoid His presence and voice. We have taken His voice as that a mere person and pay no attention to it. We are doing all we can do, not to obey His voice. We are now looking down on God. Avoiding Him as much as possible and run away from His presence. We are now seeing His work or what He wants us to do as a burden that is too much. We are now looking for excuses not to follow His ways anymore. We are now comparing His ways to the way of the devil. We don’t honor God anymore. We don’t have alone time with God, we have decided to stop worshipping Him and reading our Bible. We are doing everything to stop ourselves from hearing from God and doing what we are not supposed to do. Now, the work of God is choking us and we just want to go our separate ways. We want to cut out ourselves from God and all that has to do with Him. We have shut the doors from allowing God to enter into our hearts and homes. We are pushing Him away. We are now going to places where the enemy is living in. We are learning the ways of the devil because it’s more convenient for us. We don’t see the stress in that evil world. We are now living our lives recklessly and not caring anymore about the God we were serving. The Bible says if I perish, I perish. Because the people round us are doing evil and we can’t tell them that we are Christians, we have decided to join them. We decided to taste the water of the devil, we have drank it and it had filled us up and so therefore, it has become so difficult for us to leave the lifestyle.
We are no longer talking about God. We have allowed the devil into our homes and lives and we see nothing wrong with it. We are now eating and drinking with the devil. We are smiling and laughing with the devil and can’t see anything wrong with it. Evil things are happening around us and we don’t care . We are angry once it is mentioned that it is the devil’s doings. We are now  fighting for the right of the devil and condemning God, your Father in Heaven. We are now blinded by the devil and cannot see the light anymore. We have left our God.
The devil is rejoicing that we are doing this. Darkness has covered our light. How did we allow this to happen to us? How did the enemy come into our space and take everything we have worked for? We have slept for too long. We did not wake up to stop the enemy. We did not wake up and fight. We do not have victory over the enemy. We We are with the enemy.
Let’s go back now to our Father before it’s too late. What will you gain if you gain the whole world and lose your soul to the devil? You gain nothing. You will miss Heaven and go to hell. God is willing to take us back as long as we are ready to open our hearts to Him. Obey God, listen to Him when He is speaking to you. God is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone. Follow God now. God bless you.
